Our process
Christina DiGiovanni is a board-certified Physician’s Assistant with a background in Oral Maxillofacial surgery. She has extensive clinical experience working with patients with head and neck pathologies. Due to her time spent in this area, she has extensive knowledge of facial anatomy which has helped make her an incredible injector. She is skilled in administration of both neurotoxins and dermal filler but her specialty is non-surgical PDO Threadlifts.

Dr. Arthur Shektman is a board-certified plastic surgeon, owner of Wellesley Cosmetic Surgery and Refined Medical Aesthetics. Dr. Shektman has 20+ years of experience, is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and his practice has been recognized for excellence in the field. Dr. Shektman’s supervision and expertise with injectables allows Refined Medical Aesthetics to provide clients with top quality services and safety.

Frederika MacMillan is the founder of Refined Medical Aesthetics. Frederika has always had a passion for the beauty industry and an eye for aesthetics. In addition to pursuing her MSN/NP in Adult Primary Care, Frederika also holds an active cosmetology license. Her education and background in both medicine and beauty has allowed her to become a skilled practitioner in injectables and aesthetic medicine. Her approach is rooted in education and based on natural results. Frederika has extensive training in aesthetics and continues to stay up to date in the latest techniques and technology. She never compromises on safety and will create care plans for clients that achieve realistic goals, are comfortable, and sustainable.
